This week came with the happiest news for Valentina and Alessio.
Little Oscar, pictured here in mommy’s belly, is born.
The sweet news took me back to six months ago, on this very special day.
Everything about this wedding day represented very well the bride and the groom, focusing mostly on family and friends, lots of food (Alessio?) and non-stop fun, following an unexpected Dylan Dog theme.
Valentina runs her own pole dancing school, she’s strong and amazingly talented, and she designed her own wedding dress (yes, you read that correctly!).
Alessio is as talented, he’s been designing AND creating their furniture, he made jokes and kept pulling faces, giving me some serious hysterical moments while going through the pictures again.
Fun fact: during the bride’s preparations, Valentina told me that Alessio’s first words to me, after the ceremony, would be “I’m hungry”.
10/10 nailed it
We were afraid that it could have been both crazy hot or raining all day, instead, the weather was on their side, gifting us with a cloudy but warm day.
They have been lucky enough to be albe to celebrate the marriage in the church of San Giovanni in Tuba, a beautiful gothic church just outside Trieste. We then made it to che Caste of Gorizia for a little brunch (3rd one for the groom) and few pictures, and went on to the beautiful location they chose for their reception, Zemono. A beautiful manor house built on a hill a Venetian style (rather unusual for the area, but who doesn’t love that?). The position gives a beautiful view on the mountains and the valley, and the interior are simply to die for.
It’s been an amazing first time in Zemono, so I really hope to be back there for more weddings soon, definitely can’t get tired of that beauty!
I wish the best to the new mom and dad, I can’t wait to meet little Oscar in person!
